Shane Pesis

Hi everyone, my name is Shane and I’m originally from the flat suburbs of Davis, California. Wanting to mix things up a bit, I transferred my college experience to Humboldt State University where I majored in Environmental Studies and learned all sorts of exciting things about the environment that surrounds us. I’m incredibly excited to be your naturalist this semester, nothing beats hiking the trails and playing games like “Samurai Jack” and “Eagle Eye” out here in the redwoods! Fun fact about me, my first time here was around the same age as the students so I’m stoked that us naturalists are able to provide the same amazing experience to your students that was provided for me all those years ago.
