Learn More!The “Outdoor Classroom” of Mission Springs spans 200+ acres of redwood forest, mixed evergreen, and chaparral ecosystems. Our classroom allows students to experience natural science first-hand with all five senses. Our Naturalists instruct small hiking groups that spend the majority of their time exploring the distinct ecosystems of our coastal mountains with optional ocean field trips. Mission Springs Outdoor Education (MSOE) utilizes hands-on science and team building activities to foster positive student relationships and to promote good stewardship of the environment. Through this experience your students will flourish academically from seeing science come alive and socially from a shared experience with their classmates.
