Statement on Current Health Concerns

Update: March 26, 2020

In response to the County of Santa Cruz Health Services Agency “Shelter in Place Order” on March 16, 2020, Mission Springs Camp and Conference Center has suspended all activities.  “This order is effective on March 17, 2020 and will continue to be in effect until April 7 or until it is extended, rescinded, superseded, or amended in writing by the Health Officer.”

Discontinuing our guest group program offerings for this period is in alignment with the county order designed to limit the transmission and spread of COVID-19.

Although these measures will cause disruption to the experiences of our guests, they are intended to interrupt and slow the spread of the virus and protect overall community health. By limiting opportunities for transmission, we can slow its spread. Each of us must do our part to protect our older citizens and vulnerable individuals at risk of serious outcomes should they be exposed.

Mission Springs is planning on resuming normal operations on April 8, 2020 (if the all clear has been issued by the authorities).  Thank you for your patience and trust in Mission Springs and we look forward to serving you.

If you have further questions please feel free to contact us at outdooreducation@missionsprings.com or call 831-335-3205. Please be patient in the response time, as staffing has been impacted by the closure.
